It has been made more than obvious that the Air Jordan 12 will be the highlight of 2016, considering the various colorways of the model that Jordan Brand intends to drop this year. The Jumpman has already alluded to the Jordan releases of the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” and “Master,” while the comeback of 1997’s OG “Flu Game” also been hinted. However, there are several other iterations of the Air Jordan 12 that will also arrive this year, such as one that resembles the Red and White version that is featured here.
Not so long ago, it has also been reported that 2016 will mark the retail debut of two more Air Jordan 12 renditions. In fact, even the release dates of these particular Air Jordan 12 sneakers have been revealed. One of these two colorways will come with an upper that is predominantly dressed up in Grey, while it also features University Blue accents. According to reports, Jordanheads will be able to grab a pair of this Air Jordan 12 iteration on June 25th, as long as they will be willing to spend $190. However, the other one that has also been referred to above will not hit the shelves until later this year.
The colorway of the Air Jordan 12 that has apparently been dubbed “Cherry/Varsity Red” is being compared to the Air Jordan 12 PE that Jordan Brand created exclusively for Mark Bibby. Even the photo that can be seen here is that of the Player Exclusive sneaker, but the upcoming Air Jordan 12 version is going to look quite similar to it so Jordanheads can get an idea of what to expect. Basically, the sneaker’s upper will mostly be covered in Varsity Red, while White accents will also be visible. So far, it is being reported that the Jordan release 2016 of the Red and White Air Jordan 12 being mentioned here will likely take place on July 2nd.
