Much like the Air Jordan 12, the Air Jordan 4 is another model from Jordan Brand that will be hitting the shelves in a wide range of colorways this year. All the Air Jordan 4 iterations that are headed to retailers this year will be available in men’s sizes that can only be worn by a few young girls, rather than some of them being exclusively designed for the young ladies. However, there will be an exception since this year is also scheduled to mark the 2016 Jordan releases of the girls exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro GS “Denim.”
It is now widely known within the sneaker community that the “Nike Air” logo makes its comeback on the returning Air Jordan 4 OG “White Cement.” Moreover, special new iterations of the Air Jordan 4 are slated to make their retail debut this year, such as the “Alternate ’89” and the “Dunk From Above” colorways. Jordan Brand had already made the revelation last year that they would drop at least one kids-exclusive Air Jordan 4 in GG or GS sizing, specifically for young girls. The colorway was eventually dubbed “Denim,” which is a reference to its denim aesthetic and construction.
As the sneaker’s nickname likely suggests, the dark navy colored upper of this Air Jordan 4 rendition that can be clearly seen here is made up almost entirely of denim. However, its side panels and tongue feature the signature mesh paneling of the Air Jordan 4. The inner lining, outsole, rear and the top portion of this sneaker sports the secondary hue that can be spotted on this sneaker, which is pink, and even orange is visible, covering the Jordan Jumpman branding featured on the tongue. Since the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 4 GS “Denim” is slated to take place on January 16th, Jordanheads only have to wait merely a couple of days in order to grab a pair at a price of $140.
