The last colorway of the Air Jordan 29 Low that arrived at retailers was the model’s “Infrared” iteration that made its retail debut back in early December. It was not so long ago that Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 30, the latest installment in their signature basketball sneaker series, and less than a month remains until it hits the shelves. However, new photos have surfaced that allude to the Jordan release 2016 of the first Air Jordan 29 Low of this year, which appears to be a rendition that draws inspiration from the Chicago Bulls.
Jimmy, the shooting guard and small forward of the Chicago Bulls, was spotted rocking this very colorway of the Air Jordan 29 Low in the not so distant past. The earlier batch of photos was provided by an individual claiming that the pair is apparently up for grabs at the Chicago-based Niketown store. However, the fact of the matter is that Jordan Brand has not officially announced when they intend to drop this sneaker on a large scale. This begs the question how the singular pair of the potentially upcoming Chicago Bulls-inspired Air Jordan 29 Low wound up at Niketown Chicago. Fortunately, official photos of the sneaker have also been published so its arrival seems imminent.
This Air Jordan 29 Low is dressed up in a classic Black and Red color scheme. Of course, it is still equipped with the Flight Plate, while it features a combination of a White midsole and a bright Red outsole, which is covered in the Tinker Hatfield graphic. Branding includes the “23” that is embossed onto the Black leather heel heel and the Jordan Jumpman logo that is visible on the tongue
Despite the pair of this Bulls-inspired Air Jordan 29 that was available that Niketown Chicago, a wider Jordan release 2016 of this sneaker is yet to take place. It might even pop up on Nike.com unexpectedly.
