The Air Jordan 5 Might Receive The Premium Treatment In 2016 Or 2017

The fifth Air Jordan model was introduced by Jordan Brand back in 1990 and along with the original colorway, they went on to drop four others at that time. Tinker Hatfield had drawn inspiration for the silhouette from the North American P-51 Mustang fighter airplane and bomber that was used during the Second World War. Tinker used reflective 3M material for the tongues, while mesh netting was also added to both the side panels and the tongues, and each shoe was also equipped with a unique pair of lace locks. The fact that Shane McMahon happens to be a sneakerhead and especially a fan of Air Jordan sneakers has long been established. It was back in February of this year when Shane O Mac made his comeback to WWE after a very long hiatus and ever since, he has been laced up in one Air Jordan or another every time he has appeared on Raw. Jordan Brand took notice too, directly sending pairs for him to rock and designed three 1-of-1 Air Jordan 30 colorways for him. Dino Hatfield (@baltsneakershow), who is known for being a reliable source for sneaker-related information and news, has revealed three potential Air Jordan releases 2017 that might actually happen. While Jordanheads obviously have no choice but to regard this information as a rumor and take it with a grain of salt and regard it as a rumor, they should also never say never, at least not yet. According to Dino Hatfield, 2017 will mark the comeback of the Air Jordan 4 “Motorsport” and the Air Jordan 13 OG “White/True Red-Black,” while a brand new Air Jordan 8 “UNDFTD” is apparently on its way too. Trophy Room, Marcus Jordan’s athletic boutique located in the Orlando, Florida-based Disney Springs, is scheduled to be launched on May 23rd. Following this very recent interview of Marcus Jordan, it seems that the grand opening of his store will coincide with the release of not one but two never-before-seen Air Jordan 23 “Trophy Room” colorways that were exclusively produced to mark the opening of the boutique. However, that is not the only thing that will be going down at the store.
