When it comes to Jordan Brand’s history, the Nike Swoosh has played quite a complex role. It was not until 1997 that Jordan Brand was officially created as a sub-brand of Nike, which was followed by the release of the Air Jordan 13. However, Air Jordan sneakers had already begun featuring the Jumpman symbol as their logo in place of any Nike logos way before that, ever since the Air Jordan 2 made its debut. Jordan Brand is not exclusively focused on producing basketball shoes. In the past, they have transformed specific models from their signature numbered series into baseball cleats. Not so long ago, they even introduced the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 in collaboration with tennis legend, Roger Federer. These include being invited to take part in the 15th annual Jordan Brand Classic event and receiving the Player Exclusive Air Jordan sneakers that have specifically been designed for those performing in the event. On April 15th, which was this Friday, the city of Brooklyn marked the comeback of the Jordan Brand classic. This annual event returned for the 15 time and the highest-ranking male and female global high school basketball athletes had gathered to exhibit their competitiveness and passion for the sport. The Jordan Brand Classic is quite a celebrated event since some of the basketball greats and Jordan Brand athletes like Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul had all participated in the event at one point. Just a few days ago, Jordan Brand prepared their Chicago-based Station 23 flagship store for the launch of Jimmy Butler’s brand new signature model, the Jordan Ultra.Fly. The entire store was redesign especially for the event and even special training sessions took place there this weekend. It turns out that not one but two Jordan Ultra.Fly colorways will be making their retail debut simultaneously in the next couple of days. The Jordan 30 “Black Cat” Finally Drops Worldwide After Its Prior Exclusive Debut

It was during the NBA All-Star weekend that took place in Toronto, Canada back in early February that Jordanheads got their first look at this all-black Air Jordan 30 colorway. It is likely that many of them were even present at Jordan Brand’s 306 Yonge flagship store for its opening and were able to take a look at this blacked out iteration of the thirtieth Air Jordan model in person. In fact, the sneaker was made available exclusively at 306 Yonge. Now, collectors from all over the globe will also be able to cop a pair because this Air Jordan 30 drops this very month.
