Apparently, the next month will prove to be an exciting one for small-footed Jordanheads who generally lace up in smaller size sneakers. March is already scheduled to mark the Jordan releases 2016 of a new, unnamed Blue and White GS exclusive color of the Air Jordan 4 model, which also hit the shelves back in January in a Denim option. Now, an Air Jordan 5 Low GS iteration that has also not been officially nicknamed also joins the mentioned Air Jordan 4 rendition, both of which will be dropped by Jordan Brand next month.
Jordanheads are not mistaken if they feel that this upcoming GS exclusive Air Jordan 5 Low colorway resembles the Air Jordan 5 “Metallic Silver” from April 2016, which had originally debuted in back in 2000. Weeks prior to its official release last year, Jordan Brand published numerous photos in order to tease the “Metallic Silver” iteration. Of course, one of the obvious feature that distinguishes next month’s Air Jordan 5 from last year’s “Metallic Silver” edition is that it will be GS-sized and a low-top sneaker. The upcoming Air Jordan 5 is also visibly missing the “23” that was featured at the sides of the “Metallic Silver” version.
Coming to the similarities between the two sneakers, the unnamed Air Jordan 5 Low GS also sports an upper made up of tumbled leather, dressed up almost entirely in crisp White. It would not be too farfetched to dub this Air Jordan 5 Low GS colorway “Metallic Silver” too, considering that the hue makes an appearance throughout the sneaker in the form of accents. Similarly, the sneaker is also equipped with an icy translucent Blue outsole.
Surprisingly, Jordan Brand has already announced when the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 4 GS mentioned above and the Air Jordan 5 Low GS will take place. It turns out that the Air Jordan 5 Low GS will arrive at retailers later, during the last few days of the month on March 26th.
