As per the Air Jordan releases 2016 schedule, Jordanheads can expect the retail debut of the all-black Air Jordan 10 OVO to take place in April next year. Considering that Jordan Brand already have their hands full with this year’s releases, it will be a while until they announce the exact date when the sneaker will arrive at retailers. Fortunately, Instagram user @DamnnEricka recently shared photos of the actual Air Jordan 10 OVO “Black,” even though it is uncertain how they managed to get their hands on a pair.
Everyone in the sneaker community might be wondering why all-black sneakers have become the leading choice and preferred color scheme when it comes to sneaker collaborations. This has apparently been the case in recent times. The upcoming EQT Running Guidance ’93 “Black Market,” which is the result of a collaboration between Pusha T and adidas, is an all-black sneaker. Similarly, although not exactly a collaboration sneaker, the adidas Yeezy Boost “Black” probably makes it obvious that it is an entirely black-colored sneaker too.
The primary material that the Air Jordan 10 OVO is made of is stingray leather featured over the ankle, eyestay and mudguard of the sneaker. The remainder portions of the sneaker comprise of scotch grain leather that adds a varying texture to its upper. Of course, the upper is entirely dressed up in black, giving the sneaker a monochromatic appearance. However, the “Jordan 23” logo also happens to be embossed on the tongue, while semi-gum bottom sole unit adds the finishing touch to this sneaker.
Although these photos raise the question of how @DamnnEricka managed to cop a pair of this unreleased sneaker, the fact of the matter is that even they do not know exactly when it will hit the shelves. For now, sneakerheads can simply prepare for an April Jordan release 2016 because the Air Jordan 10 OVO “Black” will retail some time during that month next year at a price of $225.
