This year’s NBA All Star Game is the 18th one that Kobe Bryant is participating in and he got selected to be a starter to the game. In fact, he was at the top of the voting with 1,891,614 votes, which were far greater than the number of votes received by other NBA athletes. Kobe Bryant’s recent season was kind of below par, so if it was not for the fans, maybe he would not even be participating in the All Star Game. Fortunately, he will be able to play his final big game and this could mark the Nike and Jordan release date of several new sneakers.
By now, sneakerheads are probably already aware that Kobe Bryant is going to retire, likely once this All Star Game comes to an end on February 14th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. So, it makes perfect sense to expect special sneakers like the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4. The 2K4 was considered Bryant’s signature sneaker before the Kobe model was introduced and he even wore it back in 2004 during that year’s All Star Game. It is now being rumored that even Jordan Brand is going to pay tribute to the Black Mamba with a special pack.
As per these rumors, two Player Exclusive Laker iterations of Air Jordan models, which were worn by Kobe between 2000 and 2003, will apparently be a part of this Air Jordan Kobe Pack. Around that time, Kobe Bryant had not really signed up with any particular footwear brand. The silhouettes are the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 8, both of which will be nearly all-White sneakers with Lakers-inspired accents on top.
It is too soon to deduce when exactly the Jordan release date 2016 of this Air Jordan Kobe Pack could take place. However, there rumors and speculations that the pack will retail at a price of $500, and it might only hit the shelves in Toronto, Canada.
