Air Jordan sneakers that Michael Jordan had once rocked on the court have always been highly coveted. One such sneaker is the Air Jordan 17 Low PE that Michael Jordan wore during his tenure as a member of the Washington Wizards and that very pair recently surfaced on eBay. Not only did Michael Jordan once lace up in the pair, but it also bears MJ’s autograph, which makes it even more of a rarity. Since only one lucky sneakerhead will be able to get his or her hands on the pair, the others could instead wait for the 2016 Jordan releases of another Air Jordan 17 colorway.
It was back in 2002 when Jordan Brand had first unveiled and dropped the Air Jordan 17 and Jordanheads may not know this, but it has never received the retro treatment until now. Readers are probably aware that the OG “Copper” iteration of the seventeenth Air Jordan model is already scheduled to retail for $250 on April 10th.
As of now, it is being reported that apart from the return of the OG colorway and apparently these new renditions of the Air Jordan 17 are going to hit the shelves this year. While there are currently no photos of the sneakers, rumors are suggesting that one of them will be dressed up in a Black, Red and White color scheme. Apparently, the source of inspiration behind the sneaker is the 30,000th point that Michael Jordan had scored back on January 4th, 2002 when he performed as a member of the Wizards against the Bulls, his former team.
Based on the rumors that have been circulating, the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 17+ “Bulls” iteration will retail for $250 on May 29th, 2016. Much like the original Air Jordan 17 colorways, a CD and metal briefcase will accompany these new renditions. Jordanheads should now simply wait for further confirmation from Jordan Brand and for photos showcasing the actual sneakers to pop up.
