Air Jordan 2009
The release of the Air Jordan 2009 marked the end of the Jordan 1-23 series, and the introduction of a new one of a kind style, revolutionary design and unmatched performance. The Air Jordan 2009 was designed as a result of collaboration between Michael Jordan himself and Jason Mayden, the Senior Footwear Designer of Jordan Brand.
Innovative style has combined with state-of-the-art performance by this pair. Jordan Brand took a more advanced approach to design this pair, but the shoes still stick with the legacy of the brand.

This was the very first time that luxurious design elements like these were utilize for an Air Jordan pair, which gave it a bit of dress-shoe-like feel. The thermo plastic urethane chassis of the midsole is another factor that sets the Air Jordan 2009 apart from its predecessors.
On January 31, 2009, the Air Jordan 2009 was released exclusively in a limited number, and the pair made its official retail debut on February 14, 2009.
