These Air Jordan 31 Colorways Are Apparently For The Croatian National Basketball Team

Earlier this week, Instagram user @koljachu had shared photos of an Air Jordan 31 that appeared to be inspired by the Chicago Bulls “Home” uniforms. However, it turns out that it might be one of two Air Jordan 31 iterations that Jordan Brand has designed for Croatia men’s national basketball team and it may not join 2016’s general Air Jordan releases. Less than two weeks remain until the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics officially begins and Croatia seems to be among the several teams that are very likely to win medal. Jordan Brand is not exclusively focused on producing basketball shoes. In the past, they have transformed specific models from their signature numbered series into baseball cleats. Not so long ago, they even introduced the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 in collaboration with tennis legend, Roger Federer. Considering that golf is another favorite sport / pastime of Michael Jordan after basketball and baseball, it is not surprising that Jordan Brand have taken an interest in dropping their own golf cleats. After The Air Jordan 17+ “Copper” This Bulls-Inspired Iteration Will Release In May

By the end of March when Instagram user @realchickenwop has posted the very first photos of this sneaker, it became obvious that the Air Jordan 17+ would not just be returning in the “Copper” iteration. Of course, the Air Jordan 17+ “Copper” has already made its comeback this past weekend on April 9th and it retailed at a price of $250. However, this other colorway of Jordan Brand’s seventeenth model will not be hitting the shelves until the end of next month. Whenever a sneaker like this sports a “Bred” color scheme, it becomes obvious that it is in some way inspired by the Chicago Bulls. The gradual arrival of summer is that the only reason that 2016 keeps on getting hotter and hotter, and those within the sneaker community can likely feel the heat. Air Jordan sneakers that Michael Jordan had once rocked on the court have always been highly coveted. One such sneaker is the Air Jordan 17 Low PE that Michael Jordan wore during his tenure as a member of the Washington Wizards and that very pair recently surfaced on eBay. Not only did Michael Jordan once lace up in the pair, but it also bears MJ’s autograph, which makes it even more of a rarity. Since only one lucky sneakerhead will be able to get his or her hands on the pair, the others could instead wait for the 2016 Jordan releases of another Air Jordan 17 colorway.
