There are probably many Jordanheads out there who not only appreciate the sneakers that Jordan Brand drops but also the packaging these kicks come in and the little extras that often accompany them. In the past, things like extra laces, special boxes and/or paper, but an extra item that collectors tend to look forward to get their hands on are retro cards. Even though this has not happened for quite some time, next year is set to mark the Jordan releases 2016 of the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” which will come with the coveted retro card.
Among Jordan Brand’s scheduled retro releases for next year, the famed Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” retro is slated to hit the shelves early in 2016. This year, Jordan Brand made it evident that they have big plans for their twelfth signature model through their collaboration with Public School New York, which involved the Air Jordan 12. It is true next year’s “The Master” colorway from the “Poster” collection suggests that new iterations are equally in demand. However, new colorways rarely compare to classics like the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” which arrives at retailers before the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” and “Varsity Red” renditions make their retail debut next year.
So far, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is apparently the only retro that will be accompanied by the retro card. As can be seen in the photo featured with this post, the OG box containing the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” also includes a retro card showcasing Michael Jordan laced up in the Air Jordan 12 while performing dribbles. Jordan Brand has actually not dropped any hints whether next year’s other upcoming releases will also come with retro cards, but Jordanheads would certainly be delighted if that happens. As for now, they can simply look forward to the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” which takes place on March 26th, and the sneaker will be retailing at a price of $190.
